I've been reading the back and forth here the last few days and have been amused by those who think they know what went on that night. Were you there? No. Then how can you speak with such certainty as to what happened? You can surmise what happened, but that's all it is, your assumption. I find it amusing how some here act like they watched it all go down and are now sharing it all with us.
To think the case is going to be reopened is a fantasy. The police rarely reopen old cases, and when they do it's because new, unimpeachable evidence has come to light (DNA, unimpeachable eyewitness, confession, etc.). That isn't the case here. No prosecutor worth his salt is going to try a case that is destined to result in a not guilty verdict. It's not worth the time, effort, or expense.
