I was on that boat, and sounds like you were too, but they weren't married on the Splendour. They married on Rambling Rose (Bob Rose owned it at another marina from where they kept the Splendour docked). But, that poem had a pic of a toilet on it and said "happy to take your s***" -- The sofa in the main saloon was blue and ivory wide stripes and was situated like a large booth with teak wood backing. If you are the "J" I think you are, we cruised together, dude! Great times, back then. You could actually call it SPLENDOR. What a sad crying shame that beautiful woman died from that boat. I used to really respect RJ, but not since then. Sorry, it's the way I've always felt, and I think we should speak up for Natalie. She really got the raw end of the deal. Yeh, strange place to meet...here. |
