If he did sue you, he would have to prove you wrong. How could he? He couldn't. Who would be his witnesses: Walken who claims to have slept through the death, and Davern, who claims there IS something sinister? You may not be wrong, so there's little he could do or little he could get. And he would look like someone defending his own lies, regardless. He said, right in his book, "I am responsible for Natalie's death." His quote is posted at many reputable websites and in many articles. He said those words, without giving details, because he knows them to be true. He is responsible for his wife's death. He has told his fans those words, and his counterparts those words. He may feel emotionally that those words absolve his own conscience. He has confessed...without details...but he has already confessed, nevertheless. How can he defend those words now? By saying, "Oh, I meant that I shouldn't have been in the main salon while she drowned?" That's BS. He has confessed. Accept it. |
