Yes she was by Nicholas Ray during the filming of Rebel Without A Cause, Natalie's mother covered it up, then you wonder why Natalie had to go through years of therapy.

That was statutory rape because Natalie involved herself in a "relationship" with Ray while filming Rebel Without A Cause. I think the poster is referring to a forceable rape that was done by a well-known actor at the time. There are many detractors to this story as well as people who claim that Natalie herself told them about it.

Yes, but I can't say on a public forum. Think movie with a "villain" in the late seventies.

i don't think we will ever know if it happened at all...but it was in suzanne finstad's biography of nat....it was around the time of rebel..she was a kid. it was said that it was a brutal rape and his name is the one that has been mentioned most. there were other possibilities but kd is the only one of all the names mentioned that is still alive and in the book it said that he is still alive and natalie's sister said that she will reveal the rapist when he dies. natalie has socialized with this man. if you have seen the long version of mystery of natalie wood you saw a photo of them sitting together looking happy and friendly. the picture was taken around the time of rebel. also in his book, the ragman's son, he remembered her very sweetly. very strange.

I'm the guy that posted the response to the 'Now What?' thread.

Come on guys, some of us come here with our grandchildren.

It is after all The Death of Natalie Wood discussion board, a much appreciated aside is the discussion of her life and works, not to mention the snippet of her holding that child actor in her arms!

I'd hate to see this board degrade.

I'm sure if you look deep enough you could find more juicy prurient details about her, but I would ask that someone come up with a different message board who's possible titles I will not be tempted to go into here!

I respect all of you and value everyone, but really wish this would ascend to the level of class Natalie Wood deserves.

Or am I totally off here?
