Take a look at what's happening to Catalina Island right now. That's the city of Avalon in the foreground and of course the harbor. Looks like something out of a horror movie. Guests are being evacuated from the island on ferries.

Michael, I agree with you about Eli.

Also, I assume the reason you are going to Catalina is to do research for your book and all, but I'd really love it if you could take a couple photos for me for the site. If so, I'd love to have a shot of the exterior of The Harbor Reef Restaurant (or whatever it is called now). Someone sent me an interior shot some time ago (it looks like from a brochure or something), but have been unable to get anything more. (some more interior shots would be cool too I'd also like a pic of the wild buffalos that are on the island.

I certainly understand if you want to reserve exclusivity of your photos for your book, but I thought I'd ask anyway. And of course, I'd watermark them and credit them to you and plug the book as well.

Well, I'm watching the Patriots/Jaguars game right now, Frank, but I'll e-mail you when I get ready to go; that way, you can tell me again what you'd like.
