| You mentioned that one of the harbor patrol guys spent the very next night after Natalie's death aboard the "Splendour."
Is that really true? What do you have to back that up with? Do you have a name? Are you referring to Paul Miller?
Also, according to Mr. Miller, who was Dr. Noguchi's physical investigator and consultant, there was algae located on the swim step (presumably the step that remained underwater), and it was untouched that night she drowned. Therefore, Natalie never used the swimstep.

I believe it was Doug Bombard who spent the night. He was the first person Wagner spoke to about a search. There are a few steps going down to the swim step. She may have fallen in the water before she reached the bottom step. Even without algae, the swimstep area is slippery. It had rained, it was cold. I'll have to check out my copy of Noguchi's book. I recall Miller making these statements in the National Enquirer, to be honest. I have all of the Los Angeles newspapers from that week and the autopsy report. This was never mentioned but in all fairness so much has been said and so many people changed their stories...we'll never know....but in answer to your original question, it was Bombard who spent the night on the boat. |
