Some dingy (unintelligent, not the boat definition) woman answered a question I didn't ask, but she did inform me that Doug Oudin is the current Harbor Master at Two Harbors there on Catalina Island.

Hopefully, somebody will read my questions on that message board and answer them properly.

p.s. I hope to meet Mr. Oudin while I'm there.

One guy reports that you can drive a boat around Catalina Island as long as you do not exceed the alcohol level of driving any other vehicle in California, which is .08, I believe.

So, alcohol is allowed, but only if you do not become under it's influence, like R.J., Natalie, and the others did that fateful night.

Also, you can have a gun onboard your boat concealed if your boat has a sink and toilet. It qualifies as a second residence under California law.
