| It appears Michael is really gone. He has crawled back under that rock from where he emerged with his nothingness last year.
Maybe we can all have mature discussions now. Someone got to the loser. I realize that's not adultlike to say, but I'm so glad he's a thing of the past. His book will come because he's paying to have it come. All keep that mind when he returns to brag, ya hear? Good riddance, Michael. |

Sounds like this person posting is antagonizing Michael to appear. Maybe you miss him? Leave him alone. Leave a good thing alone. He has every right to write a book and publish it, whether you agree with him or not. Could be Michael knows more than you think. Don't entice him back here. Let him be. Let him prove himself. You may be surprised. |

Hmm, the first post sounds like Michael trying to solicit posts about - what else - him!!
And just because he hasn't posted here doesn't mean he's gone. I'm sure he's checking the site multiple times a day. His ego would allow nothing less.
Yes, Michael, this is Mr. Anonymous. |

I would have guessed that the second message was posted by Michael. It aroused my suspicion when the message said "Michael might know more than you think" and "you might be surprised".
The only person who believes that Michael actually knows anything at all, about any subject, is Michael himself. But I do agree with what the other posters are saying, it's best to forget about Michael's meaningless existence, and try to get this board back to where it was before he arrived. This used to be a fun board, most of the discussions were healthy. Now it's sort of degenerated, hopefully that will change. |

It's good to see we most agree that Micheal, who professes to be the only thing this forum had going for it, is what closed this place up. He was so obnoxious that he ruined what could be a good thing here. We all know that there are many unanswered questions to Natalie Wood's death, but that's not all we discussed here (before Michael and his mindless chatter). We discussed our differences in a healthy manner, just as the previous Anonymous messenger said. I have a good question, as I just watched Starring Natalie Wood. There was another biography on Natalie that I once saw on the biography channel. Are these the two same documentaries? I ask because the one I saw on the biography channel showed the yacht in the end with a scenario, too. I just want to know if they are the same documentaries. Thank you to whoever can answer. |

years ago Biography used Starring Natalie Wood for their Biography segment, then a few years later they produced their own. you can see Natalie's Biography segment on YouTube. |

In all fairness to Michael, before he came around there was a lot of animosity, name calling, insults. He is not the only one to blame for the direction things went in on this forum. There are unanswered questions in Natalie's death and my hope is that someone will be able to fill in the blanks. She did not fall off a 60 foot yacht and drown. As long as Robert Wagner fans continue with their blind defense of him, there will be animosity on this forum. |

Ah....yes.....to have the blanks filled in. Believe it or not, even "Wagner fans" would appreciate that, but not if Michael Eastman is the blank-filler. |

why? because you don't agree does not make what he states untrue. He has said very little that has not been said here before. |

Yes, she actually did fall off a 60 foot yacht and drown. Whether something else happened leading up to that is the question. But to think that the answers will be found here is laughable. LOL |

Did I say that we would find them here? But we have the right to examine the possibilities without hearing how impossible certain theories are, even if they are Michael's theories. Who are we to say that some of what Michael has offered is not true.
And, IMO, she did not FALL off a 60ft yacht and drown. |

I am from Los Angeles, but haven't lived there since 1985 when I moved to Seattle. I owned a 58 footer, nice as hell, for 10 years. After 9 years of no accidents, someone fell off my boat. Six of us were on board. We were moored and fishing. No one noticed man overboard because we were in the galley for dinner break. John called for Bill (who went over) and Bill didn't answer. When Bill didn't answer, all 5 of us ran to the cockpit. We saw Bill floating, face up with blood on his forehead.
One of us jumped in, the other threw a preserver, and another ran to call for help. I ran for the first aid kit. That's what you do when someone falls off a boat. Bill fell because he was pulling in a net and was using a hook that snapped on it's cable, and hit him in the head. He was leaning over far enough to fall after he blacked out from the blow to the head. He had come to by the time John reached him. Bill was fine.
My points are: it takes a special circumstance for someone to fall from a large boat. My next point is that the minute you even suspect that someone is missing from a boat, you REACT IMMEDIATELY. It is boating LAW that you follow rescue procedures. If we ignored Bill not answering, he could of drowned. You don't mess around on boats. You keep tally of the crew at all times. I was at Catalina Island many times and saw the Wagner's sport/fisher boat there on occasion. I always wondered how the esteemed Ms. Wood could have fallen from it. This is an interesting discussion forum. Oddly, I arrived here by looking up the purchase of a new dinghy, and got caught up reading some of the things said here. As for falling off a large boat, I wanted to inform you it can happen, but usually only under freak conditions. I'm bookmarking this forum. If anybody has any questions about boating, I'd be more than happy to answer for you. I'm still an avid boater, even though I just turned 60. |

Steve, good points. You just don't fall off a 60 foot yacht they way one could fall out of a canoe. And for a woman who was as afraid of deep dark water as she was, she would not have put herself in the position to fall off a 60 foot yacht. and thank you for your statement about acting immediately. Waiting over 2 hours and with that not wanting a Coast Guard search until 3AM. The guys that worked at Doug's did the first search. It's ridiculous to think that her death was an accident. |

Why? Why is ridiculous to think that she could have fallen overboard? Stating with such absolutes that "she did not fall off the 60 foot yacht" and "you just don't fall off a 60 foot yacht they way one could fall out of a canoe" is very bizarre. Is an accident not within the realm of possibility? Of course it is. It is completely possible that she slipped on the swim step while retying the dinghy. It's even more possible when you take into account the alcohol in her bloodstream. But not to those intent on making more of her tragic death than there is. Accidents happen every day, even to celebrities. |

That is a fairy tale. Natalie never re-tied the lines on The Splendour and doing it from the swimstep would not have made a great deal of sense, as a matter of fact, it would have been almost impossible for a woman of her height. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: Michael is goneNo score for this post | July 29 2008, 1:57 PM |
That's right, she never did retie them because she slipped and fell in. Or maybe she just lost her balance, having consumed a good deal of alcohol.
Of course something else could have happened, but where is the evidence?
(Seems were right back to our same old argument, aren't we Maryanne! LOL) |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: Michael is goneNo score for this post | July 29 2008, 2:06 PM |
you have no idea what you are talking about. she never untied them let alone retie them. she never touched the dinghy or the lines! The story about the dinghy is a fairy tale. |
|
Anonymous (no login) | Re: Michael is goneNo score for this post | July 29 2008, 2:12 PM |
Not true. She most certainly touched the dinghy. She tried unsuccessfully to climb into it after she FELL into the water. |

The way you state your position, Maryanne, with such absolutes is just laughable. You act as if you were there when it all happened and you know the real truth. Truth is, you're speculating just like the rest of us. Only problem is, there are no fact - NONE - to support your position. Just your vivid imagination. |

Ok she slipped on the swin steps, if you wanted but i bet that she would be still alive if her husband called help when he noticed she wasn't on the boat.....Unfortunately she didn't die immediatly when she fell into the dark and cold water, she struggled trying to save her life, so RJ didn't kill her but let her die, the result is the same, she lost her life, and her beloved daughters lost their mom.....RJ is unforgivable for that |

I apologize. I might be wrong. Michael would never use the word beloved. He fantasizes about having sex with Courtney. LMFAO |
