leave the poor man alone!

I am a big fan of Robert Wagner. I make no excuses for being here. I am here to defend him.One of my friends told me about this website. I ask, why can't you leave this poor man alone. All of these statements are made about this wonderful man. I, for one, have always wished that RJ would submit to a polygraph to put an end to all the gossip once and for all. I have confidence that he would pass with flying colors. What would you all say then? I wish his attorneys would suggest it to him so he can go on with his life without being called a killer.

And, if he submitted to a polygraph, he could go on even through death to not be called a killer. But, you fool, do you really think he would pass it? LMAO

If he passed a lie detector test, it could clear the innuendo. If he failed, he could squelch it, provided he did it privately. But, then, isn't he stooping to the level of even acknowledging these insults and rumors if he takes one? Is it really necessary for him to prove he's clean? He knows it. Isn't that enough?

I read EVERYTHING that's said here. Yes, I have no life (LOL). But, this is a good idea, so I'm throwing in my two cents. POLYGRAPHS! YES! WHY NOT!!?? But, if RJ passed a test, and his fans thus reveled in the results, would you be so convinced if Walken or Davern took a polyograph in which they said that they saw or heard RJ push Natalie overboard and PASSED? Eh, more food for thought, no?
My brother is a lieutenant. He swears by polygraphs!

LMAO----"Is it really necessary for him to prove he's clean? He knows it. Isn't that enough" If you really felt that way you would not spend every waking minute defending him. You seem to be trying to convince people that he is innocent. If his knowledge of his innocence were enough for you as a fan, you would not be here day and night.

Retrogirl, don't get your hopes up. Robert Wagner would never submit to a polygraph. Have you ever seen him while being interviewed about Miss Wood's death? His body language is very telling. His eyes shift, he does not look the interviewer in the eye. During a polygraph body language is observed.

I wish one of the other men on the boat would submit to a polygraph but in the eyes of Wagner's fans if they passed, that would mean that polygraphs are not accurate. If they failed it would mean that polygraphs are accurate and they would shoot the results from the rooftops.

I think it's a great idea for Wagner but it won't happen because he knows that he will fail. He is lying about the night his wife died. That makes his entire life a lie.

Yes, she should be here because people like you won't give up your quest to unfairly sully his reputation.

You, presumably, would do the same if someone you liked was being unfairly accused of murder.

But then again, maybe your loyalty has boundaries.

"unfairly sully his reputation" He did it to himself. His actions on that night sullied his reputation.

If I had a friend who went on a boat trip with his wife and she went missing and he waited 4 hours to call the Coast Guard, yes my loyalties would have boundaries. I would not have blind loyalty to a friend under those circumstances.

And how can you say that you like him? You don't know him. You have no idea what he is capable of when he is drunk and angry.

No, his reputation is being unfairly sullied by people like you who are calling him a murderer.

And when did I say "I" liked him? I was talking about whoever started this thread.

Retrogirl, if you are so in love with RJ, you wouldn't WANT him to take a polygraph. Polygraphs are accurate machines. Trained testers know when their testee is honest and dishonest. They know just from the demeanor of the testee. Look at your man in interviews. He's a bald-faced liar of the highest kind.

Polygraphs are accurate? Since when?

Guess that's why they're admissible in court. Oh wait, no they're not....wonder why?

They, sadly, are not allowed in court proceedings because of the 2% possibility of inaccuracy, but cops swear by them. I should know, I'm a cop. Liars are liars...hooked up to a machine or not. Easy to detect. Wagner is a liar.

That was not me. I am not a cop. There happen to be others who look at this forum, idiot. Maybe some of them ARE cops. Maybe you should get some therapy. But, I happen to agree with "the cop liar" -- liars are easy to detect for the most part. I agree that Wagner is definitely a liar. He had caught himself up in his own lies. He told Rasure that he had no idea what happened. He told Rasure it was a pleasant weekend. But, in his book he admits to smashing a wine bottle in anger. How pleasant of a weekend could it have been? And, the liar was NOT checked for bruising or for signs of bruising someone else. Provide your info on WHEN they were all checked....you demand facts...provide your own.

Polygraphs are easy to fool

I had a friend who had to take a polygraph for a job. He lied all through the test and he passed. He said you just have to stay calm. Also many famous serial killers have passed lied detector test because they convince themselves that they are innocent. It doesn't prove anything. I still think he won't take the test and we will not leave the "poor" man alone because Natalie Wood deserves JUSTICE and that is all most of us want.

There has been improvement in the polygraph in the last few years. The new computerized polygraph is close to 100% in accuracy.
Most of the time errors occur because of the examiner not the system itself.

Why do you believe that he thinks of her every day, oh I bet can guess, because RJ said so. LOL

Polygraph tests are hard to beat. If you want to prove yourself, a polygraph is the way to go. If Robert Wagner wanted to enhance his image for those who do not believe him, he should voluntarily agree to take a polygraph. They are complicated machines, testing almost every part of your physical reaction to response. They are so reliable that many employers will now not hire applicants that fail them! You want the truth? Can you handle the truth? These are true facts about polygraph machines and licensed testers.

POOR MAN!?
Girlie, wake up! Wagner is neither a man nor poor. He is a drunken wimp who has spent his dead wife's millions to keep his ass out of the court room and he sure ain't poor because he has his dead wife's millions to keep his ass out of the court room.

Dear simple minded girl, When RJ Wagner submits to the polygraph test and it is administered in public by hands that have not been greased with Wagner's tainted money and if it comes back clean then and only then will I say maybe he didn't do it. Maybe.
After almost 28 years I wouldn't bet your panties on him doing this any time soon. As for being a wonderful man, he is repulsive, mean, arrogant, selfish and a big drunkard. That thing he is married to know couldn't clean Natalie Wood's toilet seat with her tongue. She is a talentless red headed BRILLO PAD who latched on to Wagner, sunk her claws in his paunchy, pasty, wizened skin and hangs on for life.

Have you ever tried getting people to tell the truth when they have been paid to keep quiet? You know nothing. Why do you think Wagner takes all those shallow roles and why he wrote that book when he said he never would? He is still paying people off to keep quiet.
He does not have unlimited funds.

So you are a big fan of Robert Wagner's and make no apology for it? Well I am a massive fan of Natalie Wood's and I MAKE NO APOLOGY FOR IT but of course no apology is necessary for the fans of Natalie Wood. That thought never enters our head. Fans of RJ, like you need to start off your banter with that line because you silly little fools are so dazzled by him when he was 25 that you try not to believe him capable of hurting someone.
WRONG! How did a woman petrified of dark water end up in it? How did a woman from the old Hollywood school of thinking who would never leave her front door without make up, hair in place and perfectly dressed get into a dinghy in a flannel nightgown, socks and a DOWN JACKET (NOT A PARKA like Wagner stated. Down floats! TRY IT!))to take a leisure cruise to shore? She was going to shore, to be in public like that and without one of her bracelets to cover the slight protrusion of a bone in her wrist? NO WAY!!! She wasn't drunk. If she was as drunk as people have said including the booze hound Wagner she would have never made iit out of her state room.
Toots! I'm petrified of heights. Anything over 6 feet and I freeze. I've also been drunk a few times in my life but I never once was so wasted that I climbed the Eiffel Tower!
