Does anyone know when Goodbye Natalie Wood is coming out? There are different dates all over the place. I would appreciate knowing this.

You told us that Vlad is not writing a book, now the date will be in Vlad's book which would have to out before September to have the date of the Rulli-Davern book in it. That impossible.

On the publisher's website it gives Sept 1 as the date. Barnes and Noble announces it for August. I wish that was the date, the sooner the better. I can't wait to read that book. I belong to a group that is telling us little bits ans pieces about the book but I don't think they have ever read the book. I think they are trying to get us excited so that we will buy the book. I ordered it on Amazon because the price was better than the book stores. I have always been a fan of Natalie Wood however I was not completely sold on Robert Wagner. My friend told me that after I read the book I will not like him at all. We'll see. I will make up my mind when I read the book. My Uncle told me that he is bi-sexual and always has been but my uncle loves to gossip. Maybe because he is so pretty my uncle thinks he's GAY. There have always been rumors in Hollywood about RJ being Gay. My uncle told my cousin to tell me that when Natalie was out of town working, RJ had men come to his house late at night. Maybe this was the problem, maybe that's why he had to get rid of her. I hope all of this is in the book. The skipper must have seen a great deal

Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Spendour

Respectfully, to the "OP"; You made a statement that you belong to a group where people are telling you a bit about this book but you do not think they have read it. I do not know if you are aware of this fact but many times (most times) authors and publishers will allow certain people to read the manuscript before it goes to print. These people (authors, educators, collegues, close friends and family members) give their input. Most are required to sign a Non Disclaimer Agreement which is standard procedure. This is a legal form which usually states that the said person who is allowed to read the manuscript will not divulge its full content. In most events though, there is nothing which states a person can not discuss the manuscript but it cannot be quoted verbatim or key plot points divulged.
Possibly some in your group have had the priviledge to read the manuscript? Why not ask them. I am sure they will give you a straightforward answer as I would if the question were posed to me.

Has anyone here read Goodbye Natalie? If so, can you divulge anything...not key points as the messenger claims cannot be told, but anything?

No problem whatsoever.
I am sure the naysayers and critics of Marti Rulli will jump on the bandwagon once they read this but I assure you the book is beautifully written, painstakingly researched and respectful to all concerned. Rulli's narrative is direct, concise and qiute riveting. I could not stop reading and finished it in one overnight sitting.
If you care for further proof that I have read it and I stand firm behind this post let me know and I can give you a bit of proof without disclosing actual passages or key plot points.

You never read the book because Vlad told me he know for a fact you didn't read it.
Vlad said he knows who you are and you do not know anyone afiliated with the book but he does. He said you are G****
He said
VLAD KNOW

The author of the book laughs at asses like you and Vlad. And don't be so sure who read the MANUSCRIPT. You don't have a clue about the book. Your envy of those who do shows up in every post, under every fake name you use.

Whether you believe me or not is quite irrelevant. If you were on the level and as worldy wise and savvy as you want us to believe you would have picked up on my previous faux pas in the following statement: "Most are required to sign a Non Disclaimer Agreement which is standard procedure."
It should read; Most are required to sign a Non DISCLOSURE Agreement...
Gotcha'!

Eduardo, you are dealing with a bunch of idiots who pose as lawyers and cannot spell simple words correctly. As Wagner's lawyer they toss around big threats about jail. They don't realize that in order to win a libel suit Wagner will have to prove that what was written in GNGS is untrue. He will not be able to do that. Also he will have to admit in court that he lied to the detectives about certain things that occurred that night. It will be brought out in court that the findings of the investigation were based in part on his lies. I don't think Wagner will want that.

What a chore posting around these child like morons with their bogus screen personas. With that said;
Let me just say this to you, Rulli will surprise many of her detractors and the pessimists once they have read Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour. The photos on her blog are nothing compared to the ones I am sure she will have in the book. I say that because I do not know exactly what photos from Davern's personal collection will be in the book but the ones I have seen were wonderful. (Manuscripts are the printed word only.)
Rulli holds nothing back. She does not paint a pristine, white washed portrait of anyone including Dennis Davern which she begins to show in Chapter Three. What she does present to the reader is a totally honest portrait of all those involved (directly and indirectly) in the life of Natalie Wood.
For those who are expecting some sort of lurid, tabloid read in the vein of Shulman's 1960's biography of "Harlow" they will be let down.
It is a meticulously researched book on the tragic and unnecessary loss of a Hollywood Icon, Natalie Wood.
It is the only book I have read on this star's life (and I've read everything I could get my hands on)that I put aside and said, "Now this I believe completely."

Rj is pretty? When he was young he looked like a greaser. Those crawny arms and legs and now he is old and paunched out and boozed.
If he was with guys I bet he had to pay them for a BJ.
What the **** did a beautiful woman like Natalie Wood ever see in that mess. Steve McQueen Robert Redford Warren Beatty but nasty azz Rj Wagner? Makes me want to puke.
