You don't get on this page easily (see link above). It's all monitored by the Oprah staff. They choose "special" comments and feature them. GNGS got featured. Someone tried to downplay this attribute to Rulli, even at her blog, and good for Rulli for deleting it. The trolls won't win this one. Most people see and know what's right in this case, and here is some more evidence of it. New people will be reading these things at Oprah's blog. Millions read Oprah. She is wonderful for ALLOWING this. Remember, it MUST BE ALLOWED!

Yes, the serious people, the big guns, the kings and gueens, the GIANTS, are starting to take notice of the "little book that could" ...

there's a line in Rulli's book that really got to me, when she says, "sometimes it takes a nobody"

Did she hurt herself with that statement? No! The "somebodies" -- the biggest somebodies in the world are taking notice of what a nobody believed could happen. Yes, people like Seinfeld, Oprah and Ann Rule, are noticing. Hell, SEARS is selling the book now! Rulli did a great job. Many more giants will see it, too. Natalie will not be left alone until she can truly rest in peace.

The only people misspelled words bother are the trolls. Don't worry about it. They have no facts so they latch onto errors in text. You're fine. We get what you are saying, and we're happy this book is recieving this kind of acceptance, too. Ann Rule is no joke. True Crime and Ann Rule are synonymous. It's a breakthrough for a book everyone is afraid of. God only knows why. We have a Scott Peterson who's an actor, and a bad one at that! Scott Peterson's facial expression, ironically, always reminded me of his bad acting.

Good point, you know what is strange, Peterson, Simpson, McDonald, Wagner, Von Bulow, all had a striking feature in common-besides the obvious one of killing their wives I mean. They all seemed obsessed with their public image of being a really nice guy, the best at what they did. So by that token if someone-their wives for example these women that knew them best stepped on that prominent achillies heel, you are not the best you are not the nice guy everyone thinks, in fact you are a failure then rage would ensue. I think it would be a good book in the hands of a forensic psychologist. A case by case study of over acheivers whose world view got shaken down, maybe just one time but God help the person who was the one who did it. You might end up in the water, or in a pool of your own blood or probably in the saddest of all on life support for 20 years. Anyone else see the strong parrallels in these men?

FACT: Nothing and no one gets on Oprah's talk show, her magazine or her web site without her approval. The Goodbye Natalie Goodbye Splendor page on her web site was given the green light by her or it would NOT be there.
Ann Rule and now a page from Oprah's web site. Not too shabby for a **"nobody" like Rulli!

"nobody"- her description of herself, not mine.

I know its not jail but what the hell its embarrasing for the towns questionable couple, and who knows maybe people will walk in and buy copies of GNGS and gosh the next thing you know wby there are a million awkward Aspen moments lol. You contradict yourself once again.

It is monitored by Oprah's staff but it must go through Oprah for final approval or it does not fly. She has been known to sit in a meeting and all her assistants are gung ho over something and after hearing them out she is not impressed. When she says No it is No and that is the end of discussion.
This GNGS page had to go by her for final approval.

I'm sorry I meant everyone from the book. I said cast because I didnt want to say the characters from the book because the book is non fiction so they are real people. I only meant that if everyone of the principals in the drama leading to the death who were interviewed by the police were asked to go on Oprah then probably even Christopher Walken would be compelled to say yes. Maybe Mart Crowley too that was a bad scene in the book when he picked up Natalies earring and then kind of let it go. He was a very very very very very bad friend to her in the end and Oprah could ask him why he did not care what happened to her. Oprah can say and ask anything since no one in Hollywood is more powerful than she is. The use of the word cast was a misnomer.

Mart Crowley is a B*****d. Natalie Wood gave him his start. If it wasn't for her he'd still be cruising young pretty boys at the meat rack on Fire Island.
When she died all he was worried about was making sure he was secure. That is one ugly old queen I'd like to see face to face just one more time in my life.

Mart Crowley didn't pick up the earring. He was never on that boat after Natalie died. It was Frank Westmore (now dead if I remember correctly from the book) who picked up the earring. Three make-up artsts went with Davern to the boat, not Mart. Natalie trusted Mart, she considered him a friend. His lover, ironically, was Gavin Lambert up until Lambert died. Mart made out very well in the deal! He's a creep.

That lady that says Oprah dwells on happy topics makes Oprah look like some kind of Mr. Rogers moron. She does not shy away from real news! Oprah talks about politics and crime. Her highest rated shows to date are the Betty Broderick interviews and if that is a light topic then...well sorry I dont have a comparison. I bet she will have Marti Rulli on, and Dennis Davern and anybody else she wants and if the people who let Natalie down (calling Walken and Wagner) dont respond then they should take out a big fat ad in people magazine and write a sequel to "If I did it" and I wish they would! Because Lana Wood is a very nice lady who has suffered a lot and she needs the money. Go Oprah, Go GNGS.

She is a good person and if you think about it she herself is the biggest celebrity in the world she is not afraid of anyone. She even made fun of Tom Cruise for jumping on her couch and Tom Cruise is truly famous. Wagner and Walkens days have pretty much passed. Also Oprah is a huge advocate for at risk women and that would make her interview the author of GNGS and Walken if she wanted to. If she doesnt its not because she is afraid of other celebrities who would Oprah Winfrey be afraid of. The view from the top is all hers.

Walken and Wagner are not huge. What are you talking about? Never commands studio attention. Walken is a respected actor but he is certainly not huge. Second billing in TV films and when was the last time he got top billing in a film that made money?
As for Wagner, the only thing huge about him is his liquor bill and his wife's ass!

Lana is a pig. She stole from and used Natalie. Natalie was on to her and cut her off. Even Maria knew what a pig Lana was. Natalie was not even buried and Lana demanded to know what her cut was. Natalie was so on to Lana she left her her clothing and her furs OH yes the furs instead of Lana giving them to Natalies girls or telling RJ to keep them for the girls she sold them back to RJ for cash, what a pig. Natalie was SO on to her even after death.

I'm the one who posted on Rulli's blog and she removed my post. No matter, I reposted it. I'm willing to keep playing the game as long as she wants.

Anyway, Rulli is misrepresenting it by calling it a "headline" on Oprah's website. It is the title of a thread on her website's blog. It is NOT a headline nor is it an endorsement from the Oprah Book Club. What's next? Posting about the book on the NY Times blog page and calling it a NY Times headline?

But you blind supporters will take any crumb you can. When you think about it, it is really cruel for Rulli to keep raising your hopes.

I read Rulli's blog. I don't think she was misrepresenting at all... she changed the headline. She uses her blog like any other blogger does: to direct interested people to information about a newly published book or whatever. Looks like you Wagner fans are the ones dealing with "morsels" -- Rulli has a book in several top categories, and as she states at her blog, in many libraries across the country. No one writes a book with the kind of information Rulli got published without knowing it will be something that needs to find its way. NO ONE!
Her book is finding a good life no matter what any of you say. She led readers to a blog and because it's a blog at Oprah's site (one that HAD to be approved) you want to downplay it? Are you going to downplay Ann Rule's recommendation, too? Ya think Rulli hacked Rule's blog and inserted her book title there? Rulli's probably satisfied with the fact the truth is now available about Natalie's death. It's available for anyone who wants it. Rulli isn't being cruel one iota, or misleading anyone.
She is being READ by more people than you ever hoped for and probably by more than she ever hoped for. I've seen her book as high as number 6 on the True Crime list at Amazon, and it has never left the top 100 books in that category, and that's just one category! That ain't whistling Dixie, folks!

Real class act here, the person calling Lana a pig. The big bad wolf tried to blow her house down, but Lana has the upper hand now. Do you people have any clue why the big bad wolf has no comment? It's not because he "won't dignify this book" -- it's because every single word in this book is true. If he says anything, or makes a move on it, he knows he can't prove it's not true. He's probably been drunk since it came out. And we all know what he's capable of when he's drunk. Who's the pig?

You are so right!!! And its weird but they even look alike. I wish more people could just realize that yes handsome educated priveleged men do indeed kill their beautiful wives and sometimes their children. Being attractive and or famous does not give people a pass on psychosis or violence, it just gives them a better chance at walking. Peterson is one of the few who didnt but he wasnt a "star" or an athlete like Rojay. Even Robert Blake, and yeah I think the woman he was married to was scary, but honestly his alibi was that he left his gun in the resturant. Why do people have such a hard time believing that Robert Wagner is a killer?

I see you will still degrade anyone that disagrees with you about your hero.
You can't argue the Ann Rule posts so you will throw stones at the Oprah posts.
If you are the Joanne from the UK, brush up on your homework and remember the trouble someone caused with your site and you blindly stood by them until you were slapped in the face with the truth from your own team.

You're right, Columbine was a really good book. I still remember watching the coverage of that horrible day and thinking that the world has truly gone mad. I also remember watching Charlton Heston stand there and say the NRA was standing behind the gun show and dealer where the teenagers purchased the guns and ammunition and thinking that there was something very wrong with that mentality. I'm all for people being able to bear arms and protect themselves in dangerous situations, but it's a whole other thing when someone sells material to children and then tries to brush off the fact that by allowing the minors to purchase firearms and ammunition, they too are partially responsible for the events that took place that day.
