I read the book but I did not come back with my feelings because of the lunacy that exists that exists here. Also, my feelings about the book have been echoed here by others. It makes no sense to keep repeating the same points. What I will say is that both my husband and I were were shaken by what we read. We felt that RJ was directly involved in Natalie's death long before this book was published but the detailed account of what led to Natalie's death kept us awake. After completing the book and discussing it, we found ourselves being more angry at the police. The investigation reeked of a cover-up. I have a few suspicions that I won't voice here but I will contact Miss Rulli.

I am in total agreement with you. Besides being repetitive with nothing more than "I'm right-you are wrong. RJ is right. Davern is a liar. LOL" tripe the bigotry and condescending racist remarks I have been subjected to is reprehensible.

No, you are wrong. I am not who you think I am, I found this group because I read the book "Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour" and wanted to see what others thought of it. I have been watching your discussions with 2 ladies, and I was enjoying them, till they got sick of it and left, I will agree with you about this site being repetitious, it was only interesting while there were 2 sides - but you and your superior friends will have non of that.
I was sickened by your comment. I think hypocracy is the worst thing to swallow, and even now you do not even see how 'bigotted" you were in making that statement that people who do not agree with you are "inferior". Do I have to spell it out. That is just as bad as the comment that Prince guy said about the black maid. BTW, he should apologise about that too, but I suspect it was not actually meant that way, unlike your comment, which is super clear!

I am someone on Yen's "side" -- which is nothing more than a side for justice for Natalie Wood. I am not afraid to address this issue. I cannot speak for Yen, but I will say this. I use terms like "idiot" and "ignorant" here and I just can't help myself. I am not proud of myself everytime I do it, but there is nothing more exasperating than trying to help certain people see that what they are debating is NOT a difference of opinion, because they are debating with information that doesn't or never existed. That, I must agree is "inferior" -- someone who refuses, no matter how many times you go around, to accept and fight fair with FACTS, must have some type of inferior disability. There are more than one of you here.

Here's an example. It cracks me up, almost everytime something is mentioned that is a FACT, the response by those "inferior" (because they have nothing but their own wishful thinking to rely on and won't budge beyond it) is that "Davern was drunk" or "Natalie was drunk" -- If "fanhood" can block the mental capacity to exchange thoughts based on fact and not fantasy, that IS an inferior personality. It is beyond belief how Wagner fans will NOT ADDRESS FACTS. Wagner has told us, himself, that there was trouble that night. Natalie DIED! She DIED! God, people, she DIED! She DIED after TROUBLE. And her husband REFUSED TO CALL FOR HELP!!!!!!!!!!! But, that's ok, he thought she was in a dinghy in her nightgown on a pitch black, rainy night.

Wagner has been proven and caught in lies. FACT. So, what's the Wagner fans' answer to that? Oh, he's a celebrity, it's ok to lie, even when there's a dead wife to answer for.

To clarify, I realize that there was drinking on the weekend Natalie died and that all had been drinking over dinner before her death. My point is that Natalie didn't end up dead because Davern was drunk or because and Natalie was drinking. I only wish that Davern had called for help regardless of what Wagner demanded.
But, it was WAGNER who made the decision and I believe what's in Goodbye Natalie that Wagner made an effort to make Davern believe she was in the dinghy.

Some of us are more intellectually gifted than others. It's a fact of life. It has never hurt anyone. It has never kept anyone from living a decent life. It has never caused anyone to sit at the back of a bus or to be denied proper housing or to be told that they can't sit at the lunch counter.
The individual who referred to Willie Mae as the "black maid" has made racial comments in the past. It's disgusting. We know how she meant it. The fact that the words slip off her tongue and onto to paper so easily says it all.

First of all, I never even spoke about whether Davern lied, or Robert Wagner lied, that is your obssession, not mine, however you made a very bigotted statement and no matter how you 3 spin it, you still arrogantly hold to that statement, and your total lack of ability to see how wrong that statement was, indicated you can't admit you are wrong about anything!!!!!!! I happen to be German, and some people have said that was very "German" of you.....but I am not super sensitive, I realise what they meant, because I do not have a supreriority complex. Hi Bixby girl, I havent been on here in a while, I came today because I got this kind of strange copy of an email on Amazon of an old dead discussion. It made me wonder because the woman it was written to had spent some time here, was nice, argued her points civilly and then left, then this. I hadnt come back either because I was beginning to see that people werent so much a book club like site as I had first viewed it. The thing on Amazon looks like someone trying to pick a fight, once I even said on here that it seemed like people were looking for things to argue about.

No one really exchanges stories about Natalie, they exchange insults so it became as off-putting as another site I had joined for information, which is about the crimes of Jeff Macdonald. No one talks about issues there either they just yell at each other and cast personal aspersions. If you are interested in the case, and the book GNGS, write to Marti Rulli's blog, she is a very nice woman and enjoys talking about her book, both pro and con.
