I'm looking for a great chai recipe with which to woo the ladies and enjoy blistery cold winter evenings by the fireplace. If anyone can connect me with a good one, I'd be eternally grateful.

Here is a recipe that will keep the ladies coming back for more!

Serves 2

2 cardamom pods
2 whole cloves
1" long cinnamon stick
1 cup water
1 cup milk
1 1/2 Tbs sugar
2 tea bags OR 2 teaspoons of loose tea

Crush the cardmom pods, cinnamon stick, and cloves into small pieces, but not quite powder. Mix the spices, water, and milk and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer, uncovered, for about 2 minutes. Add the sugar and the tea and continue to simmer for 2 more minutes. Strain into cups.

Good Luck!

Could I use cardamon seeds instead of pods in the Chai recipe? If so, what amount of cardamon seeds would I use?
