Thanks for the post! We'll just have to see if this message board attracts members. The site generates thousands of visitors every week so I'm sure that once a few posts are up, it will take off. I'm counting on the unselfish generosity of snobs such as youreself to make it a success. Thanks again, and take care!

Hey Jason-

I share your passion for fine beverages. I am often accused of being a food and beverage snob but I agree, it's about passion and not some need for superiority. I have owned a Martini/Wine bar, been a wine buyer for retail, and currently I work for a boutique wholesaler.

I love your site and think what you're doing is great!

Life is too short to dabble in mediocrity.

Here's to the good stuff.

Juliana, toss that bottle of wine out! A month is simply too long unless you want to make your own boutique vinegar.

How do I turn my white grapes into wine?

G'day from sunny Australia! I live south of sydney near Jervis Bay. After mowing the back yard I discovered 2 grape vines thinking that they were dead I attacked them and cut them back just so that I could get down the back yard. Well they have just gone crazy and are producing a fair amount of fruit.

My Understanding of brewing wine is, let me say , NIL.
I have brewed bear in the past and just loved to try and experiment.
Allthough I am in my late 30s I am only now developing a taste for wine. I find I will only enjoy wine ,at the mpment, with a real nice meal. The flovours of the wine really get the stastes flowing.

Any ways!
Put a shrimp on the barbee enjoy your wine.
