Why are Holidays So Crazy?

hello all

Sorry its been so long since an update. a lot has been happening since its the holidays.
yesterday i volunteered to help my gramma move into a new apartment, a 65+ place since she is 70+ and is still working to make rent. at least now she'll be able to relax and stop cleaning apartments. i really messed up my back and elbows whilst carrying a box spring, so i took a bunch of ibuprofin before the party I went too. now i just ache. my gramma is a smoker so just being in her old apt. made my hair all smokey. that kinda bummed me out, but i washed it and all was fine.

to the party, i tried a few styles. i wanted something fancy so i attemped to make a double rope braid bun (i dont recall the real name) but it was too loose for my taste. I thought about leaving it all down, but it was a bit damp and i didnt want to it get damaged from sitting on couches and dancing. I ended up making a cinnamon bun using 2 fake jeweled hair sticks. it was very pretty, cinnamon buns always look good because by hair holds them well. and since i had just washed my hair it was really thick and nice.
The party was alright. My best friend broke up with her boyfriend of several months about an hour after the party ended, so through the whole party they had been sending out bad vibes. It really sucks because her boyfriend was a great guy and since I am her best friend I dont really get to be friends with him anymore. Society blows.

My hair grew 3/4 of an inch through last month! I really want to get to classic. I just love the look of a loose braid that goes to classic length. It's so Rapunzel. I think that is my goal. not a specific length, just getting to the point where I can make that braid.
