I am so sorry I have been so lazy with this. I post in my Xanga quite often (user id: Askama) but not here, I think I just have boring hair.
After my trim I am feeling pretty good. There are still a lot of split ends but they are all in the front strands that dont get cut when my mom trims my hair. I was thinking about maybe trying a U-shape, just to get the sides, but I like the blunt straight edge a bit more. hmm, perhaps several days of dusting is in order?
It's becoming tough to find a style to wear to work. I can be shelving books for 8 hours at a time, which is all good and fun, but ponytails get caught in things, loose hair tangles, buns are too heavy and braids are frizzy! aaah! so the styles are either annoying or ugly. A bun at the base of my head would work out well gravity wise, but the sticks end up getting very loose very quickly because of all the bending and movement. I have tried buns without a stick (using elastics or pins) and they last for even shorter amounts of time. Things like two french braids pinned up would probably work out, but I never have the time to make them. Hopefully my braiding will get a bit faster, then i could use those styles.
