...or anything sweet! AAARGH! I have been reading some books about yeast and how it can get overgrown in the body contributing to significant health problems. I have so many of the symptoms and I am so tired of the aches and tiredness and eczema and crabbiness, etc. that I have decided to try the diet (oh, I hate that word! let's say eating regimen) that will starve the yeast. What do I have to loose? Maybe I will feel better. I know that in the past, a more restricted diet has helped.
No more morning coffee. Bwaahaaa! No sugar, natural or otherwise (yep, that means no fruits or juices either). No refined carbohydrates. No vinegar (which wipes out every salad dressing in the world!). No yeasts or products with yeasts or malts--that means no bread. No cheese. No mushrooms or other molds and fungi. No processed foods.
Well, two days of this and I am dying for something sweet! Thankfully, this severe "eating regimen" is only for about 3 weeks, then I can gradually introduce some of those foods back. Some, like sugar, should be avoided always.
What does this have to do with my hair? Not a lot. I just wanted to whine a little. Actually, what I eat does affect my hair and scalp. The dandruff hasn't been too bad lately. I wonder if this will clear it completely?
