Here is what she wrote on the LHC:
I have been using the essential oils for hair growth for seven months now and I can see positive results. My hair is no longer shedding. Most days I lose no hair in the shower and only fifteen to twenty when I comb to detangle. This is unheard of for me. I was in high school the last time it was like this. Here are the results:
1. My ponytail circumference has increased from three inches to three and one-half.
2. My hair is stronger, especially at the roots.
3. My scalp feels clean and healthy
4. I haven't shed more than twenty hairs at a time since I started applying the oils.
For those of you that don't know what I am talking about see Igor's recipe "Essential Oils for Hair Growth" on the Recipe Board.
http://forums.longhaircommunity.com...read.php?t=9411 I changed it a little and use this blend of essential oils from Essential Wholesales.
http://www.essentialwholesale.com/s...pexd.asp?id=711 I add these to Emu oil as my base carrier oil. Since I had the four original oils, I add the ones that are not in the blend so I have all of the oils. I use 1/2 teaspoon of EOs to 4oz of Emu oil. I use this at least twice a week. I have also began to put the blend in my bottle of shampoo. I can feel my hair becoming full and thick at the scalp. I hope to regain the four inch ponytail circumference that I use to have years ago.
AND HERE IS THE ORIGINAL RECIPE:

Dermatologists at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland gave 43 people, suffering from a rare autoimmune disorder that causes patchy hair loss, the essential oil blend described above and asked them to rub it into their scalps daily. After seven months, 19 regrew as much as half of their hair, while a few regrew almost all of their hair back. The study was reported in the November/December 1999 issue of Health magazine. The researchers speculated that this remedy may also help other types of balding, including midlife thinning for men.
Oils of arnica, lavender, rosemary or calamus stimulate healthy hair growth. Rub into hair before washing.
Caution:
Avoid rosemary oil if you have high blood pressure. Keep lemon and grapefruit doses low if you have sensitive skin, as they may be slightly irritating.
