We are in the process of renovating our living area. I am not happy with the result in our new bedroom created by downlights. The lighting leaves the ceiling dark and as they are down lights the overal lighting in the room is dim. don't want to make same mistake in living area. What sort of lighting is there that spreads the light and gives some light reflection off the white ceiling instead of just down lighting.
