First of all I am not a critic, just an out right horror movie fan. If anyone is interested and you haven't seen any of these, check them and judge for your self..

1. The Thing. One of John Carpenter's best. Kind of starts out slow, but when the action starts it keeps you interested and keeps you guessing. This movie is unique, it doesn't have any women characters in it. It is awesome and scary, the special effects are spectacular, even by todays standards. Dean Cundey of most of JC's movies was the director of photography on this one.

2. Hell Night. Linda Blair as a college pledge. She has to stay alive in a mansion with agrotesque humanoid trying to do her in. Fast paced, very littl gore, but alot of parts that will make you jump, also a good surprise toward the end.

3. The Beast Within. It has an advertisment on the poster. It said something about the last 30 minutes. They are not kidding. The beginning is different and the special effects are pretty good.

4. The Entity. Based on a true story. Scary then heck. Scary. Trust me on this one. A new take on ghost stories. Intersesting and scary.

I hope you like them and please let me know.
