Part of watching a scary movie comes from within your own mind not what is shown up on the screen, so perhaps the problem is with you, not the movie. Movie watching is not a passive activity. It takes work.
Hundreds of thousands of other people are scared by movies, but you are not? Are they all wrong, or are you? Perhaps you are just too cool to watch a movie, or perhaps you should just do something else.
Don't just sit and wait for the images on the screen to come to you. You must allow yourself to understand what is being said by the filmmakers and actively pursue it.
