O.K., you have to be kidding me. Halloween created a new wave of scary. Where do you think the serial killer with a mask became so famous. Also the Excorsist scared the living !@#$ out of me and disturbed me for years as a kid. The Excorsist is the most talked about scary movie in movie history. They start with the Excorsist and they go to Psycho and move on to Halloween. These movies at there time were truly scary.
