Not long till the start of the season. I was wondering if any of you lot have heard about the Big Mountain comp this season in Davos Kloisters?

I would love to go, Im hoping I can get the training in and dont spend all my cash before registering time.

Take it easy

Cambo,

Yup we have heard all about it and it sounds like it's going to be a bit of a ripper all in all. Davos have a designated freeride area and it's going to be held in that area.

Things are looking even better for my season just now so by the time March comes round everything should be sweet.

I'll be in touch when I'm in Morzine.

Can't be long before you head out there now?
Cheers
Ben

Yeah Ben not too long 33 days, not that Im counting?! Cant wait to get there and hit the slopes.

I definatly want to try this comp out, I think its going to be so good for the whole of the UK scene, and the experience will help push my riding to the next level. Meeting other UK riders will be wicked as well, I only tend to ride with boarders which is good but doesnt help me to progress fast.

Im trying to find out about registering but its all abit quiet at the mo. Have you done yours?

Sounds like you know the area abit, you said they have an area for free riding, whats it like?

Anyway take it easy, I'll drop a line when I hit town.

Cambo,

The face's looking good indeed. The lift towers in the foreground of the first image give an idea of scale. It'll be interesting to know which part of the face will be used for the qualifying and final rounds.

You're right though, there does look like plenty of opp for launching a few drops. There also seems to be plenty of landmarks to navigate through the terrain.

Navigation is always a problem for me, always get lost. Too many land marks may confuse my tiny mind?!

18 days to go. Check out the snow situation
