I ususally plunk down a nice wager on the field in Pool 2. Typically offers you the best odds vs. number of horses in the starting gate. But alas, I will not take 3-1 or less. Most of the entrants will be 20-1 or more. I will pout the money in to the tri pools on Derby day. I knew the odds would be much less this year after having the field win this bet 2 years in a row.
