Keep coming back to Atigun as a nice exotics value play in the Belmont. As a Sheets user I see that he stacks up favorably with others but at much higher odds. I prefer him to similarly styled late runner Street Life, as his last Sheet number is a full point better, he gets 5 weeks rest vs. 4 coming off a new top, and per Steve Roman, his turn times project very well to 12 furlongs.
But the biggest key is always the value. On my reading of the Sheets and the potential figs they might run, Atigun should be just slightly favored over Street Life. But I expect that Street Life will have more money on his nose in this race. Would not be totally surprised if Street Life saves some ground and outruns Atigun, but I will be using the higher priced runner Atigan as my exotics value play.
