Crazy Horse Memorial

July 14 2009, 1:58 PM

I was out to see Sturgis Bike Week/Motor Rally back in '95, and took the time to see the Crazy Horse Memorial. Along with the Crazy Horse Sculpture itself, there is a lot of info and models of Korzacks? other works.I would definately add seeing Sturgis during Bike Week and the Crazy Horse Memorial to your bucket list. With all of the people and cash flow at that time wouldn't that be an excellent time to have a competition/fund raiser to contribute to the Memorial?Keep in mind all of this Crazy Horse Memorial has been built without government tax dollars/interference.-ken trapp

Cindy, Thanks for the offer, but I don't have the knowledge, time or resources to take on something like that.I was just mentioning that it might be a good opportunity to have a carving event as part of the Sturgis environment, and be able to contribute to the memorial at the same time.Like you, I would be interested in helping out in any way I could if it ever happened. For now, I'll stay under the porch while the big dogs run.happy.gif -ken
