I been working with a carver to promote his work. I posted on another forum and it was deleted. I called the owner and all he did was say to me was I have a law suit against chainsawsulputers .
I really thought we are to work together as a carving site.

Lets say this why can't I promote a new person that has a new tape to help new people cave.

Ann, I'm a little confused. Can you clarify your post?By the way, your original post was essentially hijacked by a smartass mocking the carving dvd and it got out of hand. Why your initial post was deleted along with the other posts,I don't know.It looks like the days of a carving "brotherhood" or "family" are long gone, if they ever really existed at all.

He's probably going to sue you for stealing his members.

Explain myself.

I called Jerry to ask why my post was deleted, a very simple question and he started on me and before I hung up he said that there was a law suit coming my way against Chainsawsculptors. I have no idea what for. I was just promoting Let's Carve a Bear by Burt Flemming. After I got done taking to Jerry I called up Burt and talked to him for awhile. I just never figured out why the whole post has to be deleted when just a few bad words could of been deleted. I still feel this is a free world and I am here to promote all carvers not a select few.

law suit b/s

July 22 2009, 12:18 PM

I was under the unstanding that the yellow forum was owned by the UCCG. This makes me wonder if the UCCG is going to waste their money on some b/s law suit.

I was a member of the UCCG for a couple years and did not see one thing that they did that benefited the chainsaw carvers who put up their bucks to start the guild. That is just my opinion, they might have done wonders but the message never made it down to the swamps of south Georgia.

I've had chainsaw carvers threaten to sue me over on 101 and my responce was normally, bring it on big buddy.

Most lawers (around here)now get around $200.00 per hour and would never take a lawsuit like this sort of B/S with out many hours down payment.

It all comes down to one of my favorite sayings,

"Money talks,
Bull**** walks".

I sure wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

Have a great day,

Wayne Guyer

that's what I say to them or anyone else don't like us for their own reasons. Bring on the law suit. What a joke. Had to be good beer. It give me a good morning laugh anyway over coffee. One day fishing and the girls are already in trouble happy.gif I know Ann's post got deleted and all the friends of the moderators can sell their stuff. She should have known that too and does now. I guess we didn't pay our UCCG dues this year so we can't post on their forum.
