Hey Y'all

I recently moved to Austin, Texas, from pretty much the entire west coast. I would like to make contact with any other chainsaw carvers or power tool woodcarvers in this part of the world. Looking for Pros, weekenders, wannabes, and hobbyists.

Mostly just curious but there is strength in numbers and it would be easier to create opportunities or seize on them if I knew who is out there. Besides this also lets us tell lies, B.S. and compare scars.

Or learn, carving lessons for those interested.

There is a musician and singer named Doug Moreland, who plays around Austin and also carves in the area. You may want to look him up. He's a great guy. His website is dougmoreland.com

This site has a good look up by states for Galleries or for hire if you check out their drop down menu, look for your state and you will find more then one carver in Texas.
