We hear daily about the growing problem with identity theft. I am a victim myself and although I have read a bunch of articles about how to prevent it, I haven't been able to find a discussion group about the subject, except for this website. This is hard to believe considering so many people are dealing with this. When I searched for identity theft discussion rooms it mostly pulled up sights that warned against chat room identity theft. I am interested in finding people who have or are currently dealing with identity theft as it pertains to an illegal (immigrant?) taking a social security number. I am also curious to know if there are any organizations working on solving the problem, not just telling people how to deal with it.
