Korea Trip 07, July 8th

Today we spent in Dae Jon, visited Yong Ju Sah Buddhist temple and trained in the evening in a park near the sword company.

We worked some short forms in Yong Soo Ji Do and some basic punching drills.

Yesterday, we went to practice Iado (again, demos can be found on youtube). Iado is a sword skill from japan focusing on ritualized drawing practice. It was good but a little different from our own sword style, so the detailed differences can be hard to pick up immediately. It was a pleasent environment and we got a demonstration from a master of the style. In all, it was highly enjoyable.
