Just a few lines on the subject of the Easter weekend. Well, a bit of a slow start on Friday but the weekend weather was crap after all, thanks go out to Andy and the two stroke boys for the Friday night djing, also thanks to all those that turned up that night. Saturday was better, with more scooters around. The parts fair was very good and our stall done very well, thanks to those that helped on the stall and put gear on there to sell. It was nice to see so many local scooters in the custom show well done! Does anyone know how you all got on? Saturday night was great, well done Bushy & the two stroke boys again, well done to ‘Monkey Spanner’ it was a sell out! We even had to turn people away unfortunately. Many many thanks to all the local clubs that turned up. Sunday’s thick fog did not stop the egg run, it was brilliant, about 150 scooters were escorted along the golden mile, around the harbour, over the bridge and all the way to the James paget hospital, where about 50 to 60 eggs and a cash donation of £260 was handed over, well done to every one! We would all like to thank, Andy and the Sidewinders, Damo and the East Coast Drifters, Dom and the Wasps and any one else that helped make it a successful weekend.
The next rideout is planned for Clacton (Sunday 3rd April) should be a good one.
