Hi Bridget here,
Well it was my first long ride-out on two wheels as I am new to this. It was a great day out. We left Acle at 11.30 and tackled the Acle straight, that was an experience on its own! We met up with the others at the white swan, left at 12 ish for Walcott, the sun was shining and everyone stayed at a nice steady pace - I don’t know if that was for my benefit or those slow lambrettas? We met lot's of other clubs/scooterists at the poacher’s pocket - the Norwich scooter clubs, the king Lynn’s scooter club and some from fakenham. We got eaten alive by bugs so decided to move on along the coast road to Hemsby, that was a good ride, until someone put a pond in the middle of the road, so we had to paddle across and suprise, suprise, around the next corner was loads of cow s---, so we all got to Hemsby wet and muddy but it was fun, a few moaning minis, but thanks to every one for a good day, good company, thanks to pug for organising the day, thanks to Andy, Paul and Tara for leading the way, thanks to sue and Rhonda for sitting at the back and waiting patiently for me and my darling husband for my new scooter.
Love Bridget.f.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
