Esso & myself were discussing lack of communication in the club as everyone seems to break off into little groups so we thought it would be a good idea to have a half hour meeting all together around the table between 9.00 - 9.30 so if anyone has anything to say or promote that would be an ideal time to do it, a couple of things we also discussed was putting on a Drifters do at Bluenotes funded by the club & also (one of mine)changing the name to Lowestoft Drifters SC as EPDSC is a bit of a mouthfull and Lowestoft is not in the name. bit of controversy there!

You could vote on the name, if you knew all of our members and they were all together.....hmmmmmm daft idea huh?

wow i'm getting typers cramp, don't burn yourselves out with all these entries on the forum in one day.

As i haven't been in involved too much with the club recently mainly due to the fact just needed a break and not having a scooter on the road i have noticed a difference on the meeting like you say i agree with you totaly remember when we used to have a shout outside with what was going on and newsletters were out every other week.I know i used to do the newsletters and esso has done a few since but sometimes it was hard to come up with things as nobody seemed to help out hence the lack of interest and needing a break however i am willing to start them up again if the members want them if someone can bring this up and get a response and let me know.Sorting out do's was a real pain as again it was the same few members which helped out and it just aint fair on them or myself bloody headache most of the time,everyone should put some sort of contribution in for it to go as smooth as possible.The meeting time you say 9 - 9.30 is fine as most people are there then however i wont be able to make it but i can catch up with what ever was said later on from someone else.As for the name change as in the past we have always voted on every thing so put it to them and see the response but beware mate it took about 6 months to get this one and not only that it would mean a change of badge,t-shirts bank accounts etc which would cost more money.As i have said its up to the members and what they think.

Yes agree 100%, It should be a group effort and i do know the hassle involved in just organising an event ,I think a lot of the problems are lack of information due to people in their own groups (im one of them) so i think half an hour like when Pete used to do his speeches would be good for communication of events, rideouts, parties Fetish nights (Whoops!!).I would hate to see this club fold because we have a good set of diverse members (Wimps Pimps Pervs & Banjo players), if ok with everyone il sort out the do and if anyone has any suggestions about dates, funding, or venue put them forward Wednesday night.Changing the name is only a suggestion it was just food for thought, but like you say could be hassle,
