The date has been set and its Sat April 21st sme times 8-1am was put forward about a 2am finish but they wont let us for what ever reason.As for the next band watch this space we are working on it and will keep you posted as soon as possible.

Just to let you all know the lastest after spending time trying to find a contact number for the band The Someones and making the call only then did i find out that our very own James only lives with a member of the band DOH! anyway they have ok to play at the minute but cant confirm for defo yet as one member is on his hols in the states so at the miniute its nearly sorted 90%.
Will post on as soon as its all sorted.

Just got word tonight that the band have now confirmed that they will play for us and will be doing 1 1/2 hour set.I will also be getting hold of a play list that they are or maybe going to be doing on the night but not gonna let you all see it nah nah

No its not a sercret and we would of had the flyers sorted out but for some reason the venue (football club) has pulled out so its a mad rush to try and find another venue in time but we are working on it and you will be the first to know tonia i promise.

Sorry to be a party pooper but i think the April 21st do should be cancelled, we have no venue, even if we get somewhere in the next week, it doesnt leave much time to design fliers and get them out, i speak from experience when i say 'you can never do enough advertising',the last event we had about three months to organise advertising,sorry guys but thats how i feel about it, the last thing i want is an empty room, and ive played a few of them! also i dont think we should ever use the football club again as i think they got a better offer and dropped us.

Thanks for the input Andy and hear what your saying and agree with you about footy club.As for cancelling the gig you give up to easy mate James is waiting on a call back from the HATFIELD as he knows a man,i have a number for OULTON COMMUNITIY CENTRE (thanks nigel) which i will be on the case today,i have also got a go ahead with the TELECOM CLUB (next to libary in town) which have said we can have it for £70 live band is fine and 1 am finish but only down side is it holds 90 people so i havent booked it keeping options open as i dont think that will be big enough.As for flyers i have already got one sorted been done a week now but waiting on venue and ok from everyone else.As for avertising again i see what your saying but there is lots happening.Chris and Rhondas,Waveney,Clacton all before our date and still think we can do it.

The dj's are all in place, Craig, me & Johnny D who is supplying equipment, i think we should pay him this time for rental, what do you think? that stuff isnt cheap to buy and i dont want him to think we are taking the piss. Im still worried though, i think ALL the club members should make an effort this time to sell tickets & get fliers out, Too much apathy

Yep i agree with you mate regarding JD and same to the rest of the members lets see a big effort.Still waiting on venues to get back but i am on holiday this week so should be able to get the ball rolling abit will keep you all informed.
