Question For All

Hello All

Who knows if you can remvove indicators off a scoot if fitted from factory. Want to take mine off the P2 asked at harvest drive and they said yes ,if there not there then they can not be tested for. But asked at Kegra and theys said no. So I am now totally confused,any superbrains out there please help !!!.

I'd go with what harvest drive said m8 , as long as their happy to give you an m.o.t and you have insurance whats the worry , you'll have all you need to be legal on the road so there's nowt the old bill can do if thats your worry

harvest drive are right, if you have indicators fitted, then they have to work, but if you remove them, then they are not tested, so you are ok to remove them

Well i heard that if you scoot/bike was designed with indicators then they must have them on for an mot how true this is i dont know just word of mouth but if harvest drive are ok with you taking them off then do it and get it moted there each year.I did hear that if you went up for an mot with your indicators taped up(as not working for some reason)they will fail you as they are still on the scoot.

well rule must be the same as this if you dont have nightlights on a scooter just a stop and reflector you can tell them its for daytime use only and they will put this on mot certif so i guess no indicators and no switch means mot for you sir
