Whoever knows me here knows that I love Journe watches, but when I had a choice to purchase this or a platinum CS, I didn't have to think long about it. The CS just doesn't talk to me like this Lange 1. While the RG movement of the CS is second to none, this particular L1 has it all, including that all-important date function, and the most beautiful black dial.
Actually, I'd rather compare the Lange 1 to the Journe RDM because the functions are the same. That would be a more difficult decision for me.
