| Well, the only problem(s) with your reasoning (and they are big ones), is that quite often fire hydrants are known to be moved depending on surrounding development, city services, etc. There could have been 10-15 fire hydrants installed and moved throught the years. Also, Houses are known to have their addresses changed for numerous reasons including annexation, and/or major crimes (see Nicole Brown Simpson).
See Hollywood Death Scenes by Corey Mitchell. Couldn't the house in the photo have been built after the murder on the approximate site of the murder?
