Due to lack of paticaption in our 8000SS and safety concern with the 6000SS we elected to merge both light & heavy SS.We felt that someone was going to get hurt or worse if something was not done to bring more control in the Light SS.We hope by taking this action now rather than after something happens would be in everyones best interest.So here are the rules.
1. 504 Cubic inch limit.
2. 300 lb. Moveable weight.
3. 2 bar S.F.I. spec. roll cage & 5 point harness.
General Tractor Rules
1. 30.5 x 32 max tire size.
2. Cross bolts 3/8 in size in exhaust pipe before curve.
3. 3/8 cable is to surround the engine, Place between No. 1 & No. 2 cylinders.
4. Clutch blanket or clutch can required.
5. Tie bars between rear housing and side rails attaching in front of the clutch housing.
6. Wheelie bars must support the weight of the tractor when jacked up.
7. Air shutoff for diesels. Ignition cutoff for gas or alchol. 3 way fuel cutoff or main electric kill switch required.
8. S.F.I. fire suit, fire gloves, fire boots and helmet required.
9. Clutch papers from certified clutch inspector or notorized statement on clutch, (No gray metal) in clutch assembly.
10. Quick attach steering wheel & fire extinguisher.
11. 20 inch max drawbar height.
12. 3 turbo maximum pressure, 3 pressure stages
13. Class jumping for purse(only), points money paid for designated class (only)
