Limited number of diesel trucks only .Anyone wishing to pull should call Andy Johnson at 571-6475 he will be making a list of who can pull and the rules you must follow.

Stock Diesel

I take pride in being able to drive my truck to work everyday and pull with it. The Diesel rules make it hard to do that. I do have a kill switch. But i have a automatic trans with billet torque converter i have broke everything that can break in it in the past and nothing is coming out of the case. As far as the drive shaft loops most newer diesels have solid yokes not yokes with straps the yokes with straps are what breaks. I hav been pulling with my truck for 3 seasons now and i know what will break and what wont and wouldnt pull if i was gonna break something or risk hurting a bystander. I drive my truck to and home from every pull i have driven to indianapolis 3 times and home. I really enjoy being able to drive it everywhere and home after every pull.

RE stock diesels truck

June 16 2009, 10:19 PM

I fill the same way. The stock diesel class should be something you would drive daily not some modded truck you need to trailer in to each event. there are more and more people looking to get into pulling the sport is really growing. I hope ken/ten see this and welcomes the diesel trucks to the events more often.. I pulled myself in trenton with some of my friends...I knew the Ken/Ten would let more stock diesels pull at there events i would post a tread on the www.cumminsforum.com that is a dodge cummins forum which i am the TN chapter president i could get more people to pull and come to the events if they new there where stock diesel pulls there..you have to admit seeing a stock truck pull that sled down the track is fun to watch...

by not having stock diesel trucks at jackson or any other pull is a loss of entries. also people that have diesel trucks like to pull as bad as any other competetitor. if everyone would get together and make a set of rules would yall consider?

Stock class

We had diesels at Trenton and we are having a limited number at Jackson we have tried to run diesels in the past and they had no rules or desire to make any kind of rules which were fair for everyone in the class. As stated above if you want to pull at Jackson you need to go through Andy Johnson.
