I tried Jason Cocoa Butter for two weeks now, it has a strange smell, in fact it is so strong that I need to wash by boodies everytime after massaging. Anybody has similiar experience?
Hi, some cocoa butters do smell, i quite like the smell but if your not keen on it you can buy fragrance free ones. I have Palmers fragrance free & it contains added vit E too, which is great as it should help maintain the results you see! hope it helps! xx
I am amazed someone doesnt like the smell..lol..I really like it.
Please try to find the fragrance-free one mentioned, cause by washing it off after massage wont allow it to soak in and do its job. I really want you to get results with it, because it will amaze you. Just be very sure to leave it all there and dont wipe/clean any of it off.
I use a brand by Suave right now, and it has a light smell and after it absorbs the smell is practically non exsistent. Maybe you could tollerate something like that? But if you really dont like it then I hope you can use the "smell free" kind :)

hello! After reading all you ladies talk about CB massages I'm starting to do it too. But since I couldn't find Palmers brand CB anywhere, I bought a brand called Fruit of the Earth. It's a Cocoa Butter and Shea Butter lotion with CB as the main ingredient (right after "eau").
But mine doesn't smell good at all! Maybe it's because of the combo of other ingredients but I wish it smelled like chocolate chip cookies too! Is there anything I can add to it like vanilla or something to make it smell better? This is a huge bottle of lotion - almost 1 litre - so I don't want to waste it. I just can't stand the smell!
Michelle, they are sold in all health food shops and you can even get them on ebay. Just make sure they are 100% pure essential oil and not fragrance oil. There is a big price difference anyway. Hope that helps.

Chocolate chip CB

Hi Fiona, what brand are you using? Chocolate chip smell sounds nice :-)
Darisha is correct the gerinium oil certainly is said to help with NBE .
I just want to say that it should not take very much AT ALL, probably only a drop or two. The reason is that geranium has such a strong smell and some people who are aromasensitive may get bad headaches from it. So if floral smells give you a bad headache, just keep that in mind. I have heard the geranium smells wonderful, but also that its very strong. Just thought I would mention that to you.
Also ALWAYS dilute it into a lotion or some other base because the pure oils are EXTREMLY strong and you dont want to apply to your bare skin.

I'm thinking of adding an oil or the contents of some herd capsules to my cocoa butter massages, any advice for which would be best to start with to help with NBE & how much of it. Thanks! xx
Thanks ladies, I'll look into this =) So is 1 drop of essential oil mixed with 1 squirt of lotion diluted enough? Or should I pre-mix it together with the lotion in a separate bottle?
Will it also cover up the smell of the lotion? Because mine already has a weird smell that's fairly strong..
I dont think If I were you that I would add a "whole" dropper of the geranium to one squirt. Only because I hear it smells EXTREMELY strong. I dont think you would need/want that much. Youd really have to smell it and see what you think about its aroma first. I would think just a about 2-3 drops would be PLENTY enough to cover up the CB smell.
Mel-Fenugreek is a very good herb to add to the batter. (IF you can stand the maple syrup smell..lol) Also fennel would be second runner up. Basically anything that works well for you INTERNALLY should ALSO work well for in massage.
As far as how much, well if you use the liquid extract, youd probably have to experiment a bit to get the texture just right. (not to runny) When I used the fenugreek I used about 3/4 of a dropper full-not quite all the way full, and about 1tsp of the CB. You really just have to experiment with the liquid to see what works.
You can also open up the capsules and I "think" 1 one would be enough. You may want to soak the powder in warm water first so it isnt so "gritty" in your batter though. DO NOT USE RED CLOVER CAPS FOR MASSAGE!! IT WILL STAIN YOUR SKIN GREEN AND MAKE YOU SMELL LIKE HAY!! (I learned this the hard way..lol) The RED CLOVER EXTRACT would be MUCH better for anyone who wants the RC in their batters.
Thanks for your advice sunset - your such a help! I'm not taking any herbs internally, just trying to see what I can get from massages, already have achieved 1/2" on my left breast with only cocoa butter & vit. E. So I just thought I might try adding a herb to the mixture & see if it helps! I may try fenugreek as it seems highly recommended. xx
Congrats on the growth! Thats great :) Massage can work so dont worry about not taking the herbs orally. Sounds like you may not need 'em at all with that much growth from massage!
Yes the fenugreek is a very one if you handle the strong smell..lol
Let us know if you use it and how it works for you!
Have any ladies been using 100% pure cocoa butter? I simply got some pure cocoa butter (which is solid at room temp) and melted it. I rub that on my breasts then follow with just pure vitamin E oil. Anyone else been doing that?
i did use the sticks of butter for massage and i would rub in some vitamin e gel afterwards. i thought it helped my routine. plumping up the sides of my breasts. good luck!
Christina - I've been using 100% pure cocoa butter for a long time now. Yes, it's solid and you have to melt it down for use. I fill up my sink with hot water and while I'm massaging, I let the cocoa butter melt in a little glass bowl that's sitting in the hot water. After my massage, I put the cocoa butter all over my breasts (above and below) and under my arms.
When I don't feel like melting the cocoa butter, I use 100% pure shea butter. It's not as solid as cocoa butter, but it's not a liquid either. You can just scoop out the she butter and rub it in your hands and it melts in about 3 seconds.
