i've read that NBE and birth control together can mess up menstrual cycles. i have to go on birth control pills for a month to change the timing of my period for vacation in december, just wondering if i should stop NBE until pack of pills are done, in case they interact with one another or does anyone think i should just continue with massage cream and stop pills for a month

Hya i think it depends on which NBE pills you are concidering taking some are ok with birth cotrol others arnt.

But the best thing would be to contact your pill supllyer and ask them if its ok or not.

Through all my research, *MOST* NBE herbs interfere with birth control pills -- mainly the phytoestrogen herbs, like Fenugreek, Fennel, Saw Palmetto, Wild Yam, etc. So unless you want to stop taking your birth control altogether until you're done with your NBE program, you may have some complications/side effects. You should definately talk to your doctor about what herbs you're interested in taking and seeing if they interfere with your brand of BC. You should also search the net and this forum for other info. on what herbs interact with BC.
