Hello Princessglitter,
I am not really much of an expert in this since I started this whole thing only less than 2 months ago and I am still in the trial and error stage. I am trying different things. I think I have seen a bit of fullness, and maybe possibly the slightest ever growth, but I am not sure. I have tried steeping fennel, fenugreek, and borage oil (by opening up many capsules and leave them all in the mixture) for over a week and massage with it. But it's very messy and smells bad and bad to transport. I don't want my family to do what I am doing since I have 3 children (the oldest one has gone back to the US for high school). That's why I started going to cocoa butter and olive oil for massage. So far I have bought pure cocoa butter (120 ml), fennel essential oil, geranium essential oil, ylang ylang essential oil, peppermint essential oil from that ebay user who is located in UK. He shipped these things to me very promptly. When buying several item, the shipping cost was reasonable. I have a small bottle of olive oil (my husband bought it from Spain many years ago when he traveled there), only about 150 ml. I add a couple of drops of each of the essential oils and opened a couple of Vitamin E capsules and squeezed the liquid into the olive oil mixture also. Yesterday when I was at Body Shop, I noticed that they have Cocoa Butter cream, shea butter cream and yland yland cream, and the prices are about S$24-28 for a fair large jar, so I think it's quite reasonal. The problem is several people more experienced than me have posted on this forum that cocoa butter needs to be pure and not some cosmetic grade. For the price, I think it's worthwhile to buy from that UK seller. Once you buy the stuff, I think it will last you a long time. You really don't use so much of it each day. Again, I am no expert. Hope this helps. |
