boobie cereal?

another contribution to the theory that i am going boobie-bananas: i was reading the ingredients of a new cereal i recently purchased and it appears to be the most boobie friendly cereal i have seen!

it has 8g of protein (most cereals have about 5), 10g of fiber (even cheerios only has 3... and fiber is good for staying clean inside which helps with supplement absorption), plus it has flax, barley in two forms, and a ton of soy in a few forms... and its all organic

its called optimum power by nature's path foods. their website is www.naturespath.com... i think they are only available in the united states for shopping online at least, but they might sell overseas. i can get it overseas because it is sold on the military base...

just thought i would share... my obsession is even taking over breakfast!

You're right! It does have more protein than most other cereals. Thanks for sharing.:) It'll give me something else to eat in the morning besides oatmeal.

Another good 'boobie cereal' is Trader Joe's Soy & Flax Clusters: "A sweet and crunchy blend of Flaxseed Clusters, Flakes, & Soy Nuts". It contains: 6g Fiber, 7g Protein, 650mg Omega-3 Fatty Acids, and it's low in fat. :)

I found a great cereal at Holland and Barretts (in the Uk- Im sure you can get it somewhere off the web for outside), its Vogels Soy and Linseed- tastes divine with soy milk and a chopped banana!
Im definatly a brekfast person, and have previously been addicted to porridge with cinnamon or any kind of sugary cereal, but Im really taken with this one- espcially since starting NBE.
Im not sure if it will make that much differene, but its full of soy and linseed, so it cant hurt!
I'll keep you posted :P
(unless I eat so much of it I get bored!)

do you think it's ok to take pills befor breakfast that's high in fibre? i know that you take your colonix fibre well before taking your herbs and was wondering if all that fibre in cereals doesn't just make the herbs go thrgouh the body without much absorption?

not really sure

logic would say that it would flush it out as well, but those cereals are not straight fiber... they have to go through digestion like the pills do. i try not to eat high fiber stuff with the pills, but i dont worry about it that much because its eating so i reason it takes longer to break down...

the colonix on the other hand, sometimes i would swear it is making a beeline for my intestines!

i dont know for sure, really, but i try not to just in case...

some of these entries made me hungry! but its dinnertime... i am about to say its a breakfast-for-dinner night!

Oh dear, the visuals that "boobie cereal" conjures up in my head are quite hilarious. And disturbing. :|
