I thought I had this figured out - that pains are the most frequent in those parts of the cycle when hormones are the highest, that is arround ovulation and in the lutheal phase - towards the end of the cycle, while during period, the hormons are the lowest and is therefore the least or no pains. But in my last cycle I had no pains for half of my cycle, the entire luteal phase, and when I got my period, the pains came back.
When in the cycle does everybody else experince the most pains??
Mine are always the strongest about 5 days after my period begins during the follicular phase. Usually during my period is the weakest or pratically non-existent pains.
My pains run off and on daily from about the time my period ends to the time it begins and then pretty much ceases to exist while on my period. Its pretty much been consistent, although the pains are getting stronger shortly after my period now.
according to Beboard the pains on the first half of cycle are referred to growing while on the second half it's due to premenstrual swelling. but i'm not very sure it applies to everyone if at all.
@Henri - As I wrote in my original post, the pains are supposed to be the strongest towards the end of they cycle and arround ovulation.
@4pomegranate - Thanks for the info, so I'm not the only one. I guess that is normal then.
What I'm thinking about having more pains during the period and less during the lutheal phase is that maybe it's an indicator of havin too high progesterone. But it's just a blind guess.
Hey girls thanks for the response. I guess I am where I should be since my pains are consistent throughout the month, except when on period, in which they cease to exist.
