I have found so much useful info on this site, all of the members are so supportive. Thanks for the info, whre do you put it? and how often? do you jusst put enough to rub inthe skin or do you put a thick layer and let it aborb? this whole hormone thing is the answer my "health problems" I am not a sick girl, I just generally always feel about 45%. Progesterone cream is applied in thin layers to areas of the body that have low fat but high circulation (back of the neck, insides of arms, hands, feet, tops of thighs, etc.) You rotate the site each time so you increase absorption and don't build up a potential allergic reaction. You generally use it once a day -before bed is best because that gives it longer to absorb.

The amount you use varies on your symptoms. Generally you apply 20mg once per day starting on day 12 of your cycle (your period is day 1) and continueing each day to day 28 of your cycle (or when you start your period). A woman in menopause uses a slightly different timing schedule. Those with extreme estrogen dominance symptoms use more cream for several cycles until the symptoms abate. You use the least amount you need to get the desired effects.

It is pretty simple, but I recommend you consult one of Dr. John Lee's books for the precise details. There is a lot of information in them that will help you understand hormone balance.
