Just wanted to let you know that I am cheering and rooting you on. My Chirstmas party got cancelled ~ looooooooong story ~ but tonight is still on. I am to the point that over. My mother in law had the audasity (sp) to tell my husband that she was offended that we didn't put up the decorations she buys him every year on our tree!!!! I must have been really bad this year ~ it seems like Santa is just brining a whole bunch of coal disguised as criticism!!!

I belive God tests us in certain ways to see how posative we have become throughout the year and how determined we are to resist temptation not to enter into such silly childish conversations !!!! so many families have this same test every year !!!! as the Delai Lama says true happiness is a state of mind where we are content within our selves and nothing can shake it !!! so open the bubbly and focus on the family members who love you and offer gratitude to the universe for such love !!!! love jelly....xxxoooxxx

Well, got time for a quick note, and then I won't be back on until late tonight or tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know that I survived Christmas unscathed!!! There was some name calling between the children and I almost blew my top....but I didn't ~ my youngest was exhausted by 9 o'clock that night when we made it over and after 15 pics and them wanted to do a handful more before presents!, he just had enough and came over to me and wanted me to just hold him ~ the one child came over right in front of us and goes "you're just a mommas boy.....mommas boy....mommas boy, can't even take pictures...." and then walks off. The childs mother just sat there smirking, never said a word of correction ~ I was boiling, and my husband was quite upset....... and dh said it was time to leave after about an hour and a half ~ he is my hero!!!! *smile*

Jelly ~ I am very religious and realize that we only get what we can handle, but sometimes I don't think I can handle everything I seem to be given. Seriously, I am sure my inlaws would make even the sanist person go crazy!!! (this should be read from a very weary perspective, not a harsh one) I am just tired of all the drama. Drama, drama, drama. After years and years of it, it wears on you and I am just tired of it.

The only up side, is I caught the latest "gossip" of who is doing what. DH and I like to "discuss" it and laugh at how ridiculus some of it seems.
