Honey, Im sure it does..... I have been on Vitex for almost 3 weeks now and feel a difference alredy. I am alot fuller than before.

This is good news, because I have been feeling the same thing and I have been on Vitex for almost two weeks!! I have a lot of fullness too, but can't quite attriubute it to the Vitex yet. BUT I did noticed that my complexion seems to be getting clearer, which is wonderful for me, I became splotchy with all the herbs!
That's great news! After a while I bet you all will notice a lot less PMS, too, for those who experience it anyways. It really helped me with that.
I was wondering, how much Vitex are you all taking? I am only taking 800 mg per day, and I wonder if more would be better. Is anyone taking more or less than that?
I am taking 2 pills in the AM and 2 in the PM. They are 400 mg pills. I have just started taking Vitex though, and I am trying to just take it to see results. I am a college student and don't have a lot of time to take several different pills, or the money yet to buy Wonderup. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
Also, has anyone experienced an upset stomach from taking Vitex? I have been taking it for a week and my stomach has started to bother me, but it may be because i have started to drink more soda at home than i usually do while im at school.

Hey girls since the vitex posts, i started on it 2 weeks ago, and i feel a difference too! I'm pleased. I took vitex extract 6 months ago and my boobs took off, but i falsely credited the Pueraria Mirifica with this. My routine changed and i went almost flat again.
I'm taking 500mg 3 times a day along with, sp, fenugreek and Wild Yam. It has taken me a whole 12 months to work out that i need progesterone boosting things in my routine....

Well I'm now into my 3rd month of vitex and all I can say is WOW!! Things only get better as time goes on :-)
I have found too that by cutting the phytoestrogen intake down to practically nil that I'm growing faster too. I guess that if vitex is a natural balancer of our hormones, then by taking in extra ones will just give it more work to do, as in processing all the extra....if you get my drift. The easier it is for it to do its job if we are not throwing lots of extra phytoestrogen in the mix.
Karen Johnstone was obviously right and all she did was take vitex to grow 2 cup sizes in 5 months. I wish I had known about this before. It would have saved me in fortune as I wouldn't have had to fork out for all those other products.
I'm taking 1600mg per day, but it is a slow acting herb and does take a month or two to get into the system.

i read on the herbs page that vitex can help with progesteron deficiency. i did the online hormone test and i think i have high androgen level (i bought sp already) rather than low progesteron level. but i'm not sure cause i had this terrible period cramps 2 days ago and terrible terrible grumpiness which i'm afraid to say that my bf was the victim of that...(he took it well fortunately, he's so sweet)
so i guess i also lack progesteron when i'm having my period? do you guys take it for the whole month or just near the end of it when you're about to have period? can you take it just for the purpose to regulate your hormones or only when you're progesteron deficient? thank you guys
On day one of my cycle I measured 35.25 which meant I grew 1/4 - 1/2 inch last month taking Vitex weeks 3 & 4 of my cycle. I only took 1 pill(400mg)a day at lunch. However I did start packing on the pounds. Of course 5 Christmas parties did contribute to this also. I gained almost 6 pounds in the last few weeks of. So on day 3 of my cycle I decided to stop Vitex until after ovulation so that I can try to lose some of this weight. I am on day 7 now and I am taking the new "NV" diet pills. It is mostly Green Tea Extract and Hoodia. I hope it helps me stop eating so much. I have been hungry all day long. My plan is to start Vitex back up in a week if I can shed a few lbs.
i am joining you girls. I`ve been looking everywhere for chasteberry here in Norway and could not find it anywhere. And i just found out that they sell it at vortexhealth where i buy all my other herbs, talk about beeing stupid..

hi, i took vitex for about a week and decided to stop. my libido almost totally disappeared and i developed the worst depression i've had for quite awhile. oh btw-it wasn't pure vitex i was taking-rather it was a tincture containing vitex, black cohash, oats, ginger etc. anyhow- i couldn't deal with the lack of libido and the depression, but to all you who have been successful- i rejoice with you!
