best brand for a multivitamin

I heard that ones you buy in say walmart aren't as good as ones that are more expensive in a health food store. Has anyone using the "normal" multis have as good results as those using more expensive ones? I'm thinking of buying a more expensive one but I'm not sure if it's necessary and there's sooo many choices and some have stuff like milk thistle, etc. tonic sort of ingredients and I don't think it'd be good to regularly take a cleanser as well.

Lately I've discovered that the best 'mutivitamin' is actually bee pollen. It contains all vitamins, all minerals, all essential amino acids and fatty acids and in addition to that a bunch of very useful enzymes and growth factors. But it comes more expensive and it tastes kind of jucky.

Also, taking synthetic vitamin pills for long periods of time is supposedly not really good at all, or so the doctors have been saying lately, but I don't know the arguments for that.

anytime I buy multivitamins, I only get Centrum. It's a name that I trust, I've used it for so long.

I'm actually taking a knockoff of centrum right now which has the same ingredients in it. The thing about bee pollen is does it have enough nutrients to be accounted for because when I look at a bee pollen jar it doesn't have any traceable vitamins in it?
