new, help with routine?

Hey,

I am new to BE sort of. I did research but I still feel like I don't know what I am doing, especially when it comes to dosages. Any ideas??

FYI I'm 20 5'4 119 lbs, 36 AA, and have adrenal fatigue. I really want to avoid saw palmetto, and fenugreek because I felt sick when taking them, and I don't want to gain weight.

thanks

You could use Nettle root and Fennel instead, you should just read up on those herbs to see if they would be okay for you to take, maybe consult your doctor?
As for dosages, always start low and slow.
If you have a better idea on what herbs exactly you want to take (and you really should chose for yourself as you are going to be the one taking them) we can give you better guidelines about dosages, as it all depends on what and how many herbs you are taking.
I hope this helps a bit.
I also don't know if you have read the page "newbies start here" on the main menu? There is all the basic stuff as well as some guidelines on dosages too and somewhere on the main menu is also a herb info page. Checking out other people's programs could help you as well in chosing what you want to do.
Good luck

I think that routine sounds quite good, I would start off with one herb each and ramp up slowly. Not sure with the Fennel dosages, but general guidelines are that up to 3000 mg of a herb are okay, although I wouldn't go up that far if you don't have to.
Maybe start off with 1000-2000 mg or so and keep with this for 1-2 months.

As for the Nettle root, generally the lowest dosage of that should be fine, I think they come in 400 - 800 mg or something, I usually just take 1 pill of what I get in the bottle a day and it has been fine.
With the Vitex, look on the bottle and maybe compare with other girls, but again, start slow, the important thing to bear in mind is that you can always increase dosages and that it is more difficult to find what is right for you when you take too much to begin with and have to ramp down.
I am not sure about the barley grass, depending on how high this is in phytoestrogens you may want to stay low with the Fennel dosages, you don't want to overload with the phytoestrogens to start with. Also, some girls seem to grow well on the vitex alone, or with vitex and little dosages of phytoestrogens. Since you are just starting your routine it may be worth a try to start off only with the vitex for a month or so and see how it goes with that. It is up to you obviously but worth a try and so much easier than finding the right combo of so many things.
Good luck and I hope you see growth soon.

I don't want to depress you or anything, but adrenal fatigue is a huge obstacle for NBE. You certainly should try, but just so you know, you would be a special case. In my oppinion it would probably take longer for you to grow, so be preppared to have lots of patience and dedication. Incresing dosages however wouldn't help at all, so take medium. Taking those less conventional 'second opption' herbs may also be a negative, you may have to try out other combinations. But I say keep at it, just be patient. :)

thanks for the advice. I think I'll stick with fennel and lose the barely grass. First I'll start with vitex and see if that does anything by itself. Hopefully I will be able to grow with the adrenal fatigue and all...maybe that's what is making me flat in the first place? I wonder if I was meant to be bigger (no one in the history of my family from ages and ages has ever been flat. Every family member was busty, or at least a B...nothing below that). How upsetting :( Maybe BE will be okay once I start taking adrenal support supplements. I haven't been able to get any supplements because I'm waiting for the doctor to be on the new insurance plan january 1st.
