just wondering if estrogenic herbs, progesterone herbs, or BO work better for certain people based on body type. I'm a slim pear/spoon/triangle shape. I tend to gain weight on the hips and thighs first. Pear shape is heavier on the bottom than on top. BO, WY, SP, flax oil, vitex and E is working for me. What is your body type and what's working for you? Maybe if we can find a pattern or some kind of consistency here we'd all be seeing beter results?

Herbs should be chosen mostly upon hormonal (im)balance. I think there are some tendencies of physique related to hormones, so this is like a way arround and therefore less accurate. But it would be interesting statistic if we did a surway like that. I'm slim and tall. I can eat alot and don't get much fatter. Tiney boobs, nothing else of imoprtance about my physique.
i am short. 5'4". fast metabolism.120 lbs. weight goes to butt and thighs and face. never boobs. lose weight in face then thighs then butt. but not terribly out of proportion just like a 4 inch difference. wy cream, cocoa butter massages. fenugreek, saw palmetto, soya, omega 369 worked well for me. good luck.
I'm short as well. 5'2'' with a small frame, about 105 lbs, trying to gain weight but it's tough (oh what a problem to have, haha). I have like 34 A's or something.. I don't know for sure, it depends on the bra, sometimes I fit in a small B, depending on my cycle. Honestly, I never knew how to measure bra sizes until very recently. Eh my body type is bony with small hips and I tend to gain weight in my stomach and butt first.
I am an hourglass, but a slender one. My weight generally stays consistant, but when I do gain a pound or two, it usually goes to my upper arms, face, thighs, and hips. What worked for me was SP, EPO, and gelatin capsules for the first three months. After that, chasteberry capsules worked the best.
I'm 5'0" tall, and 85 lbs. Very hard time gaining weight, and I eat all day long. When I do gain weight, it goes first to my face, then my stomach, then my chest. Nowhere else. My legs and arms are like twigs.
First place to lose weight is my face, then stomach, then chest.
Right now I'm only doing massages, and drinking Boost protein drinks. More fullness, not really growth. But it does help, because my boobs usually shrinks around this time on my birth control, and it hasn't shrunk as much as it usually does. Yay.
I'm also a pear. 5'7" 135lbs. Only recently in this past year, have I had any issues with my belly and hip area. I'm athletic, and am super conscious of what I eat. No chemicals; only partake in a rare dessert here and there. I'm super convinced though, that it has to do with my extreme estrogen balance. I guess I can conclude one way or another in a month or so, when hopefully by hormones will be more balanced.
I'm about 5'2" and weigh exactly 100 pounds at the moment. I have a nice booty (hee, hee), slim waist, but (ah!) no boobs. Mine are 32A. Oh how I pray to get good results! I've only just started my routine, but I'm currently taking fenugreek, wild yam, saw palmetto, gingko biloba, and massaging with cocoa butter. I plan to add more stuff to my program soon.
im 5'5 hour glass normally but put on in lower 1/2 which currently makes me a pear (got to knock that weight off )weigh 64kilos and wondering if im like you organic angel ? love jellyDeee...

Re: what is your body type?

Hello Jelly,
Does the menopause cause weight gain or do you think it was the herbs?
Interesting ladies! There are about 5 basic body types for women. Sometimes I think we can be a combination of two body shape types. For example, even though I don't have much breasts compare to hips, I do have wide shoulders which makes me look porportions from the front, but from the side, I need more on top. I don't think you'll find much hourglass figures here on the forum because they don't need BE. There are curvy with ample bust, slim waist and good booty. Apple/T shape don't really need BE either because they have wide shoulders, large breasts but flat butts and skinny legs.(top heavy) I believe the pear shape is the most common. I know that the pear shape 'over produce' estrogen compared to progesterone from their ovaries. I don't know about the estrogen/progesterone ratio with other body types though. Here's some info. on the different types of body shapes:
The Pear-Shaped Figure:
The pear-shaped figure is the most common female form.
Call yourself a pear if:
* Your upper body is noticeably smaller than your lower body. You have a overly curved hourglass waist, full buttocks, wide pelvis and thick thighs. upper arms and upper legs tapper quickly and are rarely fat below the elbows and knees.
* If you were to gain five pounds, four of them would go to your hips and thighs.
The apple-shaped/T shaped figure is unique to the full-figured form.
Call yourself an apple if:
* Your upper body is noticeably larger than your lower body.
* If you were to gain five pounds, four of them would go to your bust and waistline.
The Hourglass-Shaped Figure:
The hourglass-shaped figure is considered the ideal female form.
Call yourself an hourglass if:
* You're very curvy with a clearly defined waist.
* If you were to gain five pounds, they would distribute evenly right to your curves.
The Ruler/Rectangle-Shaped Figure:
The rectangle-shaped figure is easy to identify.
Call yourself a rectangle if:
* Your figure is straight up and down, without a lot of curves.
* If you were to gain five pounds, they would distribute evenly throughout your frame.
Cone-shaped Figure:
Call yourself a cone if:
* Your figure is wide from top to botom.
* If you were to gain five pounds, they would distribute evenly thoughout your frame.
Oh yes, there is also Ectomorphs, Mesomorphs, and Endomorphs.
Ectomorphs: Ectomorphs are those skinny girls and guys who appear to eat as much as they like and still stay "rake thin." Ectomorphs are those whom appear lean, long and lanky, and have a small bone structure with narrow hips and a small waist. Their legs tend to be longer than their bodies. I do believe we have some ectomporphs on the forum.
Mesomorphs: They tend to be athletic looking with broad shoulders, narrow waists, and broad hips. Mesomorphs appear to be more muscular and the distribution of their weight may be more evenly presented. They sound perfect, don't they? However, they do tend to gather weight around their hips and thighs. I'm a mesopmorph. :)
Endomorphs: Unfortunately if you are in this category, you are going to have a much more difficult time in maintaining a healthy weight. Endomorphs are predisposed to gaining weight, and tend to be on the overweight side. They are typically more heavily boned, and carry more fat than muscle. Generally their legs are shorter than their bodies. Fat stores will accumulate around their stomachs, and their breasts may be larger than "the norm".
Happy boobie growing everyone!
Aloha ;)

given the latest id say im most definitely an ectomorph and im between a pear/hourglass shape. im only 4ft11..weigh 106 lbs...i dont have big hips just enough..not too much on top(that being the reason why we're here in the first place)..i have enough booty tho:) thanks to my daddy haha...and when i gain weight it goes al to the tummy, booty, and face first.so im a little of both i think.hopefully i can fill out some curve on top:)
A good page for determing one's body type can also be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Female_body_shape, with some good information on determining one's figure.
I am quite tall (5'7) and pretty "normal" nor slim neither fat, long legs, flat chested.
I don't feel like there are a lot of tall girls here am I wrong? I feel like most girls are quite short and slim.
yes menopause definatly slows down metabolism of many women including my self so it means we cant get away with eating all those extra goodies we used too !!!! and yes I belive fenugreek put weight on and bloats the tummy and makes one lethargic !!! oh the things we put ourselves through for big boobs love jellyDeee...
I'm glad you entered this topic 'cause I have been thinking a lot if there's a correlation between body type and hormonal imbalances.
Anyways, I'm 5'5 , 110 lbs and definitely a pear shape (putting 10lbs in these 7 months made that *very* clear). I'm still on the slim side though. =P I started to see great results (more pains and definite growth) when added vitex to my routine, I'm positive it made a difference in my routine. I'm also taking fenugreek (610mg x2-3 daily), and nettle root tea 1-2 times daily.
Forgot to add I'm also on Flax seed oil 1000mg x 2-3 daily. I'm 32 in band size and if I have to wear a bra I choose a 32B as those are the comfiest for me . 32As are just too constricting and the wires on those are just too small for my boobs.
i'm 5'5", weigh 50 kg (not sure how much it is in pounds, i think aroun 105), from front and back i think i am hourglass shape but from the side definitely a pear shape, my bum is nice and round and i think the right size for my body, now i just need to get those boobs, hopefully they are on they way ;-)
I am an Ectomorphm, and a ruler!!! although I feel my butt is huge and noticeable, I am apparently am the only one who holds that opinion. I am 5'6" and weigh currently 118. I eat alot, and nobody knows it. When I have gained weight in the past that isn't because of a pregnancy *wink* It was evenly spread throughout my body, and nobody really notices that I filled out~ they just kept saying I looked healthy.
i am an ectomorph. 5'3" and 107 pounds. i think i have broad shoulders. i eat lots but usually when i actually do gain weight it's in my belly, butt, and sometimes i get love handles. trying to gain weight in upper half but it's hard.
im on wonderup + sp and im not sure if it's working. had some swellig but that's about it so far. crossing my fingers!
I guess I'm an ectomorph. Always been skinny at 5"4" with weight between 106-112lbs. I did gain about 20lbs when I was in the military and topped off at 125lbs. That was 9 years ago and it distributed pretty evenly. I have a small waist and round booty, so I can't complain except in the boobie department. But that's progressing nicely, so maybe I'll be hourglass in '07. Woohoo!!!!!
Well, looks like I'm a ruler....only 5'3" and usually stay between 105-108lbs. When I do gain a pound or two it goes straight to the bootie or stomach.
i am 4'10" in height, my shoulders are same width with my hips for front view to back view. in my sideview, my tush protrudes more than my breasts. my waist is small. my body dimensions is 95cm-70cm-95cm but i still look small in the upper department although my body measurement seems like my breasts are alright. my teacher said that i am mesomorph and hourglass is it right?
All right, if NBE is working for you, please list what supplements you are taking besides your body type so we'll have more info to compare it with for what programs/herbs/supplements work for the different body types. Thanks for all your inputs. :)
Aloha & happy boobie growing.

Re: what is your body type?

I'm 5'5" and weigh about 130lbs, most of the weight is in my upper body, thick waist and bulgie tummy.
I have thin legs, slim thighs wish I could gain weight in my thighs.
totally out of porpotion, its a horrid figure which I would call " Apple shape" which is the worst for health reasons.
If I try to lose weight I look stick thin.
According to Waxingmoon's division, I'm an hourglass without boobs. I can't be a pear, cause pounds don't really go into my but or thighs. I've got an almost model like figure, slim but not skinny, only withut boobs.
I'm a pear shape and have been since puberty, before that I was just thin everywhere, probably due to playing a lot of sport when younger. I have always found it difficult to put on weight above the waist, but seem to lose if from there first if I lose weight.Any weight gain always seems to go to hips, thighs and stomach. I am 5'3 and weigh about 54 kg. I am on Wonderup and Vitex and have grown about 1 inch in 7 weeks, so I guess it is working for me.
